To turn maple syrup into butter, the syrup must be brought to 233 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, the resulting product is poured into dishes that will be cooled with cold water.
After cooling, a stirring operation is necessary. The color and texture of the syrup change slowly during this operation. The stirring stops when the desired color and texture are reached. The butter is then transferred to the containers for consumption.
All that’s left is to enjoy and share!
